Frances Fleming-Milici, PhD, is director of marketing initiatives at the UConn Rudd Center for Food Policy & Health. For over 15 years, her research has examined the amount, nutritional quality, and impact of food and beverage marketing to children, adolescents, and parents of young children, with a focus on digital media and targeted marketing practices.
Her work informs policy solutions to reduce unhealthy food marketing and advance health equity. Dr. Fleming has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, reports, and policy briefs and has testified before state legislatures on youth food and beverage policy. She serves as an expert advisor to national health organizations.
