Registration includes access to all CFY26 sessions and exhibit vendors from May 4, 2026, to May 6, 2026, a networking reception the evening of May 5, 2026, as well as breakfast and lunch for all 3 days. Lodging and travel are not included.

Online ticket sales close Friday, April 24. Limited on-site registration will be available if space permits.

Open to all youth-serving professionals, public health leaders, educators, community organizations, and prevention partners.

Attendees can expect interactive breakout rooms, keynote sessions with prevention leaders, networking opportunities, and best-practice presentations focused on evidence-based youth health promotion. The Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth and Prevention Connections are pleased to offer continuing education credits for conference participants. Application is pending with the National Commission on Health Education Credentialing to provide Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) with up to 9.75 (entry-level) Category I continuing education contact hours. General certificates of completion are available upon request. Participants may use the general certificate to seek contact hours for disciplines not offered by the summit. For questions about continuing education, contact Terri-ann Brown at tabrown@vfhy.org.

Each current grantee organization or coalition (HCAT and Tobacco grant cohorts, RFP #852P024 or RFP #852P025) gets two free tickets to the Summit. Additional tickets can be purchased at the standard price.

Overnight guest self-parking is $18.
Daily self-parking is $20.

Yes, we will provide meals as follows:

Yes! A block of rooms has been reserved for all CFY26 attendees at the prevailing government and discounted rate of $276 per night plus tax. You can access the room block information here.

The room block is available until April 17, 2026, or until there are no more rooms available in the block.

We do not — but if you register by Jan. 9, 2026, you will receive 10% off early bird rate!

Only one discount may be used per registration, and discounts cannot be applied after a registration has been completed. We recommend confirming your discount before checking out to ensure it’s applied correctly.

Refunds & Cancellations

Please read the important refund information below. There are no exceptions to the cancellation / refund policy.

Cancellation Requirements

All cancellations and requests for refunds MUST be submitted in writing by the deadlines listed within this policy. No cancellations will be accepted over the phone.

30+ days before summit

Full refund minus 20% processing fee

14-29 days before summit

50% refund of registration fee

Less than 14 days or no-shows

Substitution Policy

Registrants may send a substitute in their place in lieu of requesting a refund. Substitutions will be allowed by sending the substitution request to cmclaughlin@vfhy.org. Include the word “SUBSTITUTION” in the subject line.

An email confirmation of requests for cancellations/refunds or substitutions will be made within five business days of the request. Please contact Charlie McLaughlin at (804) 786-2279 to answer cancellation, refund or substitution questions.
